What I read This Week On Bitcoin
A nice jump at the beginning of the week took Bitcoin to a high of 35K and the week ended with Bitcoin sitting at $33,872.60 USD.
NerdMiner in coming
Ordered a Nerdminer and looking forward to getting it soon.
Will do a full write up on this Bitcoin devices that has been dubbed a Bitcoin Lottery Machines, mainly because the change of confirming an block and winning the reward is basically impossible. Didn’t stop me from buying one to play with it and add it to my Bitcoin stuff collection. More on this coming soon.
Saving Satoshi
I also came across Saving Satoshi, a light-hearted first point of contact for coders who are curious about Bitcoin development.
It’s a mix of technical text and code-based challenges to help new developers learn more about Bitcoin in a fun interactive way.
The Bitcoin ETFs
Mitesh Patel made a spreadsheet that show Bitcoin in self custody vs Bitcoin ETF vs an IFA Managing a portfolio using a Bitcoin ETF instrument.
Why anyone would buy a Bitcoin ETF only to pay some Wall street crony to 1-2% for less security is beyond me. Better to learn how to self custody.
I imagine ETFs will just be a stepping stone to holding Bitcoin in self custody as more people learn that the 1-2% fees are robery.
